Video stuttering since upgraded to 22.04.1 LTS

al flag

I upgraded my whole system from Ubuntu Studio 20.04.2 LTS to Ubuntu Studio 22.04.1 LTS.

My computer is the following machine:

Motherboard: MSI H61M-P31/W8 (MS-7788)

Processors: 4 x Intel Core i5-3330 @ 3 GHZ

RAM Memory: 8 GB

HHD: 2 x 1 TB

Video Card: Intel Xeon E3-1200 (part of the motherboard)

Audio Card: Intel 6 Series/C200 (part of the motherboard)

I can noticed an ugly stuttering when I play 4K UHD webm and mkv video format files with MPVPlayer.

I always use Calf Audio Plugin (multiband audio processor, multiband limiter and stereo tools) with Jack Audio Connection Kit to get a better sound from the system.

If I stop to use Calf and Jack, the stuttering is gone.

But... This problem did not happen when I used MPVPlayer with Ubuntu Studio 20.04.2, even using Calf and Jack at the same time.

So, I guess something is missed and/or bad with some audio and/or video codec.

How can I work around it?

BTW: This stuttering isn't happen when I play 4K UHD mp4 format video files. using

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
