Below is the process it hanged on since last night and nothing changed hours after waiting. process upgrade is hanged on

Then i tried the following to fix the upgrade package sudo dpkg --configure -a; sudo apt dist-upgrade -f

And now im in a cache lock that wont get unlocked. Trying to cancel the command does nothing and now I cannot use the terminal. I dont want to restart the computer because I'm afraid itll mess something up. Please help. waiting for cache lock

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
