Ubuntu 22.04 monitor resolution problem

vi flag

I've just installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on my old desktop pc. My monitor is an old Samsung P2270HD, which is a 1920x1080, connected via HDMI to a Radeon HD5770. Resolutions up to 1920x1080 (16:9) shows in the display settings, but if I select that res, the image simply is literally too large for the monitor. If I turn on "Adjust for TV" it becomes too small. Under Windows 10 that resolution worked perfectly.

How can I fix it? Thanks a lot

This may be a hardware problem with the cable, etc. I have exactly same monitor and all works well.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
