So I have been using ubuntu for almost an year now. Everything was working really fine until the following messages started erupting suddenly on their own-
[ 0.18267] x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS.
/dev/nvme0n1p5: clean. 526621/7684096 files, 8860830/30720256 blocks
[ 1.828121] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\DPPP], AE_NOT_F
[ 1.828187] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.IETM.IDSP due to previous error
[ 2.626043]
I tried to search about this error a lot but alas, there wasn't any solution that could fix this error. After one month of this error, two things happened:-
My ubuntu, if left for a long suspend (usually for 4-5 hours), will freeze on login
screen as soon as I pressed a key but my mouse will move freely (Clicking will not
respond). This won't always happen but will happen significant number of times
initially.
Similarly for my windows, if left for sleep for long, it simply will not wake up
whatever I do (press the key or clicking the mouse).
Now the situation is worsening day by day. My Ubuntu is randomly freezing (but mouse is moving freely still) and only option is a force shut down.
I have literally done, everything I could on my own so please suggest possible measures to solve these issues.
Let me know if it is due to hardware issue.
