Scanner not found in Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS

I'm struggling to install a Kodak i940 in Ubuntu 22.04.1

I have already installed the device driver (kodak_i900-07.01.00.00-1.amd64), the libudev0-package, sane, xsane and the multiarch-support_2.27-3ubuntu1.2_amd64.deb as described in one manual I found online.

lsusb shows (among others):

Bus 001 Device 007: ID 040a:602a Kodak Co. i900

But when I open xsane, I can only select my network HP printer/scanner.

Any clues...?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
