Clonezills restore: unable to boot with secure boot enabled

pl flag

I've restored a clonezilla image to a new laptop which is the same model with same build options (different SSD but same size).

The image is dual boot with Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04.

If secure boot is enabled I can't boot Ubuntu due to bad shim signature. I can boot Windows.

I can disable secure boot and both boot.

However I would like to know how to fix the bad shim signature issue as I'd like to have the option of being able to enable secure boot.

I've tried playing with mokutil and update-grub.

Can anyone help?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
