No GUI on Kubuntu

ua flag

I have installed the LTS version of Kubuntu. After installing there is nothing displaying but the wallpaper. Note, that system is functional, but I seem to not have the Terminal, Browser, etc.

I have tried changing my video drivers but it didn’t help.

What would be the solution for this problem?

Please be specific with details; you mention the LTS version of Kubuntu, but not which LTS release. Is the Kubuntu 22.04 LTS (the 2022-April release), 22.04.1 LTS, or an older LTS such as Kubuntu 20.04 LTS (and which re-spin). Was it just installed? or it was working, and you made some change(s) & on next reboot/login you had this issue? (ie. *what changes were made in the last session prior to this occurring*). You mention wallpaper, but haven't provided details; is it a `sddm` or DM wallpaper? or a KDE wallpaper? Can you provide a link to a picture of what you see?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
