How to recover Ubuntu 20.04 login password?

ls flag

I've seen the post below, and I've reset the root psw, but I'm still unable to login via RDP. I use mRemoteNG to login, not sure why I'm unable to login. At Ubuntu login page I get:

User: root (can't change it) Then I type the password that I use to SSH

SSH works fine, but Ubuntu doesn't login via Remote Desktop
A month ago I was able to login, but now I'm not sure why the password doesn't work anymore..

Thanks

How do I recover my main Login Password?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
