Lower Monitor Resolution on 20.04 Server

br flag

Just installed Ubuntu Server 20.04 (target application doesn't support newer versions).

Viewing system with a KVM. This system is command-line only, and the text displayed is too small to read comfortably.

I want to reduce the monitor resolution so that text is legible.

I have tried xdpyinfo and xrandr commands, both of which are not installed.

How can I reduce screen resolution, using command line, native Ubuntu 20.04?

Thanks in advance.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
