This is possibly related. On login, if choosing a different window manager, I click on the desired windows manager, however it takes about 5 minutes until it highlights the option, and I have to wait until I can type in my password into the prompt after my selection. I am using lightdm.
I have also noticed a lag type behavior in Chrome and Firefox, when I save a file, I will right click and save, but I have to wait 2 minutes until the dialog opens up to allow me to save the file. I also noticed while I am waiting, it seems where the dialog will appear, I can't right click on any images under it. I also noticed if I try to use scroll where the window will appear, it doesn't register, but if I go below where it will display, I am able to scroll fine. Almost like the dialog is there, just hasn't rendered yet.
During the time the dialog appears, xdg-desktop-portal-gnome taking up 100% on one thread.
