GNOME Shell Extension to edit calendar panel

mr flag

I'm trying to write a simple GNOME shell extension that displays custom calendar dates underneath the regular Gregorian dates in the GNOME shell calendar panel.

This is an example of what I mean.

I'm relatively new to the GNOME environment and the documentation on shell extensions is not very thorough.

Can anyone provide a MWE on how to get the calendar to display a second date underneath the existing dates?

Thanks.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
