Punctuation Keys Sticking (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS)

mg flag

I recently installed Ubuntu desktop through the terminal using

sudo apt install ubuntu-desktop

and have been having a problem with the punctuation keys

,./<>?;':"[]\{}|-=_+

Whenever I try to type them, they either don't type or end up sticking and repeating.

I was able to temporarily remedy the issue by turning off repeat keys in the settings, but that creates a new issue when I try to quickly navigate or backspace. I also cannot be sure a punctuation key has been typed when entering a password in the terminal.

Currently using a Lenovo Thinkpad T495 and using an Ubuntu VPS thats running VMware.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
