I'm not sure where to start with updates vs specific errors - refreshing cache, Bluetooth, general updates, all the issues

Truthfully, I'm a bit at my wits end here since I can't seem to mentally tackle the logical 'first this, then that's part of my issue(s) and simply must ask for assistance.

I've attempted to update software a handful of times now, knowing it wasn't fully successful, so to speak, however still operating under functional circumstances. Today that ended! I ran into issues with just trying connect my Bluetooth mouse to the computer and in doing whatever remedies I could find online, ran amuck into my old 'updates failed/not fully successful' messages again.

...it's abundantly clear that there's an issue with how to get the Bluetooth properly running, burning all of this mouse-connectivity debacle, I've run into the "refreshing software cache" standstill issue.

I'm not sure where to begin on what I need to do first. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated in advance! I can/will add images/terminal text as best possible too.

Thank you!

A software update would be initiated by the command `sudo apt update`, if successful followed by `sudo apt upgrade`. Please paste the output of these commands into your question. Or are you talking about `snap` software somehow?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
