Mounts function weirdly or not at all untill the folder has been opened in xdg-open

am flag

There are two seperate issues that seem to be linked by a similar solutions:

  1. my NAS
  2. second nvme ssd I added at a later point to the system
The NAS:

I store embedded Linux builds (Images, dtb's and root file systems) on my NAS, but untill I open the folder in xdg-open I am unable to flash an image with uuu to one of my systems, it will say:
fail open file: >bootfs.fat
But when I open the folder in the file explorer and then try again it works as intended.

NAS fstab:

//ip/sharedfolder /mnt/sharedfolder cifs vers=3.0,user=NASuser,password=NASpassword,uid=user,iocharset=utf8 0 0
The second issue:

When I start my pc up in the morning it seems to wait with mounting my second ssd completely untill I click on it in the file explorer. It will show that there is a Disk2 in my Other Locations tab. but things like github-desktop and vscode cannot find the actual stuff thats on there untill I open up this disk in xdg-open.

  • I run Ubuntu 20.04.5

These problems aren't devestating, but I feel like they are still a bit odd and shouldn't be there.

Thanks in advance for any info on what is going on here

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
