Ubuntu 20.0 server LTS, disabling HDMI port

br flag

I'm using a rock 4 SE board and have put an ubuntu 20 server linux image on it. It doesn't really have a gui but has a command line console.

How would i go about disabling the hdmi port on this rock board? I've narrowed it down to the name of the chip being dwhdmi-rockchip

What i've tried

  • I've disabled all references to the /boot/config-4.4.194-11-rk3399-rockchip-g1bb08d49cc40 file. I don't have a /boot/firmware file or folder
  • I've had a look at lsmod to see if the hdmi driver is there but it's not visible
  • I've tried sending the lspci command but it returns nothing.
  • I've also got into the folder /sys/bus/platform/drivers/dwhdmi-rockchip/ff940000.hdmi/power looked at the runtime_enabled file and changed it from enabled to disabled. However this change gets reverted everytime the system starts

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
