Top right part of Gnome panel is MISSING

sa flag

I am using ubuntu 22.04. Instead of the regular gnome session, I use FVWM session.(I am an old time FVWM user and need very many tabs and other FVWM2 features).

I can start gnome-panel by typing "gnome-panel" in the terminal.

When gnome-panel starts, it has a menu on the left, which is good, but NOTHING on the right, which is bad. On the right, there should be a logout menu, a clock, sound settings etc etc.

I feel I need to start another program that contains those items on the top right of gnome-panel, but I am not sure what it is called. Could someone give me some ideas? Thanks!

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
