I had Ubuntu 22.04 on my Asus PC and it was working great.
Paid to upgrade to Ubuntu Pro, thought I could update/upgrade to Ubuntu 22.10 to see what it looked like.
Sound quit working immediately. I get a message during boot that some AE thing cannot be found, but it scrolls past too fast to even screen shot it.
Tired to reinstall Ubuntu 22.04, since it worked, and I have all my files saved to cloud.

Didn't help. Sound through the HDMI cable that allows my Sanyo monitor/tv to display video doesn't work at all.
Thought it might be the sound card in the PC, but I plugged in an external speaker (USB) and it works fine.
lspci list image is here
had to take a video and capture a single image of the error I get with every boot since I installed 22.10 and had to reinstall 22.04
WTH does it mean by 'nobody cared' ???
so this is what my 'sound' screen shows now.
