Use h5c++ and mpic++ wrapper compiler at the same time: makefile

bt flag

I need to use the mpi and hdf5 wrap-up compilers in my makefile.

What should I do?

My naive approach was to add the h5c++ makefile command: CC := mpic++ hc5++ -std=c++14 -g -pedantic

Which does not work, and I receive the error message: "g++: error: h5c++: No such file or directory"

I have no direct experience to offer, but I note that both mpich and openmpi appear to provide specific wrappers for this (`libhdf5-mpich-dev: /usr/bin/h5c++.mpich` and `libhdf5-openmpi-dev: /usr/bin/h5c++.openmpi`)
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
