Ubuntu Microphone not detected

bs flag

I recently installed an Ubuntu alongside Windows via DualBoot. At the beginning everything was fine and my Ubuntu had no problem. Recently, however, my headset microphone is no longer recognized and I have spent hours on it. With Windows, however, it still works as usual. Alsamixer and all other programs like pavucontrol say that no microphone exists. But I can hear sound through my headset.

I thank you in advance for any help

What is already also tried is booting from different kernels. That did not work either

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
