How to fix a game being invisible when running with DirectX11 in Proton 8.0-2?

cm flag

Here is a video of the issue.

I can't seem to run American Truck Simulator in fullscreen with DirectX11 and Proton 8.0-2. Running natively is not really an option because that doesn't work that well with GSync and running with OpenGL is not really an option either. Does anyone have an idea on how that could be fixed? I have my system info here:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
