mount "bad usage"

td flag

Newbie here with Xubuntu 22.04

Trying to mount my NAS with the following command

sudo mount -t cifs vers=1.0 //192.168.1.3/share /media/share

returns mount:bad usage

I can see the NAS share with smbclient

What am I getting wrong? Thanks in advance.

`vers=1.0` is an option, not a separate parameter. It should be preceded by the `-o` option flag, like this: `-o vers=1.0`.

Thanks Jos,

I put the vers=1.0 as an option and everything is ok now.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
