KDE Menu Editor: why inverted commas that are absent in the launcher file?

br flag

I have created the file ~/.local/share/applications/software-properties-qt.desktop with the line Exec=pkexec env DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY KDE_SESSION_VERSION=5 KDE_FULL_SESSION=true software-properties-qt, which works just fine. But the KDE Menu Editor or the Application Launcher right-click menu option "Edit Application" show parts of the command with inverted commas:

env 'DISPLAY=$DISPLAY' 'XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY' KDE_SESSION_VERSION=5 KDE_FULL_SESSION=true software-properties-qt

Why is that?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
