Why does an error sign show up in my notification bar?

sv flag

I have recently installed Ubuntu and am quite new to it. Things were fine for quite some time, but an error shows up out of nowhere in my notification bar and I don't know why!

This is the error notification that I've received:

This is the error notification that I've received

regarding unmet dependencies!

I looked up online for the solution to the problems....

Firstly, I tried

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

This is what I received

Then, I installed the Synaptic Package Manager too and went to "edit" > "Fix Broken Packages" It, did show Successfully Fixed dependency Problems but the notification was still there even after restarting.

I tried "edit" > "Mark all upgrades" Then, it showed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Lastly, I went to the Software Updater App on Ubuntu. This is what I received:

You have to give the full package name in the apt policy command `apt policy libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37`

I cleaned up the remaining configuration of the packages via synaptic, and then I updated the packages via synaptic as well - and after that the red icon with the error disappeared from the top panel.

Are you the OP? If not, this is not detailed enough to help them.

I am not the OP. You are also not the OP and cannot know for sure what is a detailed answer for him and what is not. I provided a working solution to the problem using the package manager Synaptic. I don't know how detailed an answer you expect, but in Synaptic it's not hard to figure it out at all.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
