Disable "Authentication is required to mount device" for any (unknown) disks, USB sticks, etc.?

cn flag

My laptop has Ubuntu 20 and two users in the sudo group. Unfortunately, whenever I plug in an external disk/stick, it asks me for my password. I would like to disable that. I don't care about other users mounting or unmounting my devices.

I do NOT want to disable automount, nor do I wish to turn off the permissions dialog for specific disks. I have not found a way to configure this so far. Can you help me?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
