This is not a problem with postfix. The sender is specified by the client by default, and not touched by the mail server.

You can specify the sender with mail in the following way:

mail -a FROM:[email protected] [email protected]

Alternatively, use a more full-featured mail client, such as alpine, where you can configure this easily in a menu-driven configuration system.

The thing is alpine does not support catchall & that's what i need. Is there not a possibility to change it to default so it sends as [email protected] ?

Alpine has absolutely nothing to do with catch all; that's a server feature. Regarding sending: as I've written it's by default specified by the client, and the server does not rewrite this. Postfix *does* [support rewrite of addresses](http://www.postfix.org/ADDRESS_REWRITING_README.html), but it's probably better to let the client specify this.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
