Unidentified Network on Guest VM Hyper-V Manager

cn flag

I am recently in charge of setting up a new ticketing system on one of the servers, I created a virtual machine in Hyper-V Manager with the Guest 1 option and installed Windows Server 2016. After creating the account I noticed that the network for VM has an "unidentified network" and will not connect to the internet. An external virtual switch was already created on the machine using the second Nic. There are two other VM on the host that does not have any issues with the internet. They are automatically assigned IP addresses via our DHCP server. After careful examination between the working VM and the broken VM, I have found no differences in the settings. It looks like the broken VM will not get an IP address for some reason and I am not in control of the DHCP server therefore I can not see what available IP addresses are out there. Lastly, when I run the ipconfig/all command on the broken VM it does not show a Default Gateway.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
