sample.net can't be resolved to some external IP via your internal DNS, since your AD domain is using the same name. The only proper solution for you is to rename your internal AD domain. This task might be easy or complex, depending on your existing IT environment. I can't recommend some specific guide for you, but you can find several guides available on the Internet.

The best approach is to buy additional domain for your internal AD, e.g. sample.net.
Second best approach is to use non-existing root domain for internal AD, e.g. sample.lan

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
