postfix: Configure address for MAILER-DAEMON

ru flag

I have setup postfix on my Debian server to send emails (my website uses PHP Mail() to send notifications to its users).

I observe that on failed deliveries, the system tries to send the notifications to debian@mail.example.org, which is my "sender". Since my server is not configured to receive email, I obtained the following kind of errors:

2DD2E1A2037 9139 Wed Mar 15 11:13:39 MAILER-DAEMON
    (connect to mail.example.org[xx.xxx.xx.xxx]:25: Connection refused)
                                         debian@mail.example.org

My question is how to make these emails be sent to another address (e.g. my_personal_address@gmail.com).

Thank you very much in advance for your answers!

You need to configure your PHP application to send emails with proper address.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
