Unable to connect to wifi, "For accessing the wireless network SSID you need to provide a password below:"

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 with KDE Plasma 5.18.5. I entered my SSID and password details in Connections, but whenever I try to connect to my WiFi network, a popup shows and says "For accessing the wireless network SSID you need to provide a password below:". When I enter the password and click OK, it just says connecting for about 10 seconds and the popup appears again. When I click cancel, a notification appears and says that no secrets were provided and couldn't connect.

Wifi works on Windows. I have a Realtek 8821CE (note I had to install the drivers for Ubuntu manually from here: https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce)

I already tried disabling KDE Wallet, and it makes no difference. I also tried changing the password to "Store password for all users (unencrypted)" and it makes no difference.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
