Ubuntu 20.04 displays only on my external monitor

cn flag

I installed ubuntu 20.04 recently and I have an external monitor.

After some tweaking (that I can't remember, too bad for having not taken notes), the display happens only on the monitor (the PC screen is black). After shutting down, disconnecting the monitor (by unplugging the HDMI cable), and rebooting, I have a black screen (no display happens on my PC screen). I have to force shut down my PC by keeping the power button pressed.

From the displays settings: enter image description here Does it seem the PC screen isn't detected anymore?

My ideal setup would be to display on the monitor only when connected and to switch back to the PC screen after disconnection. How to achieve that?

Here is the log of my Xorg.0.log: https://pastebin.com/aDpGJTNV

Thanks!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
