How to access Dropbox GUI (system tray) settings menu from command line

us flag

my workflow with Dropbox settings/preferences usually looks like this

1.Click on dropbox system tray -> 2. Do whatever

But how can I achive same thing from commend line ? By that I mean accesing same GUI menu as I previously did by clicking on system tray. Let's say I'm logged into machine with X-11 forwarding, I have ability to run GUI apps but don't have acces to system tray.

The classic commendline dropbox method aka.

dropbox exclude add xyz

is not only pain in the neck to use but also have incomplete in terms of available settings and thus very limiting and in my particual use case, useless.

The files in Dropbox are usually synced to /Home/Dropbox by default. In terminal, you can navigate to that folder and perform whatever file operation you require and it will reflect automatically in your Dropbox account in the cloud.

Yep I know that, but the question is about Dropbox settings/preferences not the Dropbox files.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
