Ubuntu tries to install in live usb itself

Hi I have a very weird issue and a unusual one.

When I try to dual boot linux i.e ubuntu 20.04 alongside win10 on a brand new hp laptop (15s) I get this error from live boot:

Your question should include details about your un-detected storage device. Storage-not-detected in some circumstances (like Intel RST storage) is common and well-documented.
