Lenovo IdeaPad 5 cannot be shut it down properly

eg flag

I got this laptop about almost one year ago. The operative system is just linux thru ubuntu 20.04. So basically the problem is that from time to time the laptop gets freeze and I have to force the shutdown. A bit more often when I want to turn off the laptop, it shows a black screen (sometimes shows the processes) and remains like that, again, I have to force the shutdown.

Do you think this is a problem related with my ubuntu installation? maybe the kernel version or it might be something else? I would be happy to follow some steps for debugging this these are suggested. Another hint is that when I used to use windows this didn't use to happen so I don't think it is a hardware problem.

Edit: I attach an example of the message the laptop shows when in hangs during shutdown: https://ibb.co/kBpLfgJ

Thank you!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
