How do I disable middle button click close in Ubuntu 21.04?

in flag

I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 20.10 and then to 21.04 just fine and am happy to have all the functionality working just fine. I however noticed that now my touchpad has middle button active (I didn't notice this before but could have been a problem in previous version of Ubuntu also) and it closes the currently opened tab in Chrome when clicked accidentally instead of left button click.

I looked at some of the suggestions using xinput list, get-button-map and set-button-map commands but I get a warning saying "running xinput against Xwayland server..." and set-button-map doesn't really change anything for me.

Is there another way to disable middle mouse button fuctionality on Wayland/Ubuntu 21.04?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
