Inateck Bluetooth Surface Keyboard Issue

in flag

So I recently wanted to try out Ubuntu on my surface pro 3 laptop. I have been running it off of a 32 GB USB (I chose the TRY option instead of INSTALL option when asked) I connected by Inateck KB02026 to my computer via the Bluetooth menu in Ubuntu's settings. The keyboard connected however I was unable to use it, the trackpad as well as the keyboard were simply not working (Not registering any input whatsoever) I attemped to connect a normal wired mouse and keyboard to the device and they worked completely fine, any fixes for this issue? I would really like to try Ubuntu using this bluetooth keyboard before making any drastic decisions as I am very new to the Linux scene. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have the exact same issue with my surface pro 5 Inateck keyboard connects but neither keyboard nor mousepad work. I also have a logitech k480 bluetooth keyboard connected which works just fine. I sent the inateck back and ill try my luck with the official pro type cover I already posted this, but it seems my answer wasnt saved for some reason

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
