Segmentation fault with kdeinit5 (specifically libc) on a fresh Kubuntu 21.04 install

in flag

As said in the title, I received this error every time I took a screenshot. I disabled mutliarch support and it fixed the error with screenshots, but saw it again (may or may not be a result of removing multiarch?) when customizing KDE panels.

OS: Kubuntu 21.04 64bit
Kernel: 5.11.0-25-generic
DE: Plasma 5.21.4
Specs: i7 7700k, gtx 1080 (470 driver), 16g ram

The original error:

Application: kdeinit5 (kdeinit5), signal: Segmentation fault

Follow up: I re-enabled multiarch support (this version: multiarch-support_2.27-3ubuntu1.4_amd64.deb ), and the seg error when taking screenshots is back, while the one when editing kde panels is gone.

Solved: An update fixed the error. Got it by adding the KDE repo: https://community.kde.org/Kubuntu/PPAs#Kubuntu_Updates

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
