(SOLVED) Cursor icon reverts to the classic one (or some other ugly one) when in certain apps such as Discord or Spotify in Kubuntu 20.04 (KDE)

Certain apps, (i suppose snap ones?) refuse to uses any cursor icon I might have installed and instead display an ugly one when hovering over the said windows. Sometimes it is the default cursor, sometimes a weird, pixelated one.

Replace snap packages with apt versions, and check if the issue still exists.

@ArchismanPanigrahi How do I exactly do that? I admit I am kinda new to Linux but I am eager to learn.

Follow this for Discord https://itsfoss.com/install-discord-linux/#via-deb and this for spotify. Then report if the issue exists in them. https://www.spotify.com/us/download/linux/

@ArchismanPanigrahi I did what you said, it was relatively easy to install them like this (though I had a few issues with Spotify). The Discord page said it won't get updates if it is a debian repository as opposed to a snap package, but I'm not sure about that. The one thing I know is that my cursor looks normal now! Thank you! I don't know if it helps you in any way, but you could leave an answer so I can mark it as answered.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
