Disable touchpad while typing in Xubuntu Login Screen

ca flag

I want to disable the touchpad while typing. There is an option to do this in the xfce touchpad settings but this doesn't enable it on the login screen (lightdm greeter) though it works fine after login. I have looked through the lightdm gtk greeter settings but there's no option for this. It's very annoying to have to input a long password multiple times because the cursor jumps around due to my hand touching the touchpad.

Based on whatever I have read, the option just runs a command with syndaemon but I don't know where and how to run it so that it works at the lightdm login screen (before the user has logged in).

Kindly suggest a way to accomplish this.

OS: Xubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
