HDMI disconnected on 20.04

in flag

I have a laptop with a Geforce 3060 graphic card and a Ubuntu 20.04 installed, currently using the nvidia-driver-470. The problem is I can't use my external monitor because the HDMI port is disconnected (I'm using dual boot and it works fine on Windows). External monitor is Samsung SyncMaster T240.

I tried installing nvidia-driver-460-server with no luck. I also tried switching between lightdm and gdm3 with no luck as well.

Commeting the nvidia-drm modeset=1 in the /lib/modprobe.d/nvidia-kms.conf also didn't change anything.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
