problem in using the selektor for Firefox in Ubuntu

by flag

I have installed the selektor and tried to use the below part of this instruction.

You will then be able to use Tor (via Privoxy) as a regular HTTP proxy. To do this, install Privoxy:

sudo apt-get install privoxy

Then, edit the Privoxy configuration file as root (I’ll use Gedit below):

gksu gedit /etc/privoxy/config

… and add this at the end of the file:

forward-socks5 / localhost:9054 .

(there’s a dot at the end of the line, that’s not a typo!)

And finally, save the file and restart Privoxy:

sudo service privoxy restart

But i can not use the tor bypass in my Firefox and i needs to run Firefox vpn extension for bypass the filters, some of settings could be seen at below:

Also if possible i like to know about the possibility tracking the IP of myself by using the selektor instead of the tor browser.

Thanks.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
