Automatic mounting a thumb drive in 21.10

mx flag

In 21.10 I have to bring up the GUI file manager to click on USB device and get it to mount in media/USER/

Is there any way to get the behavior back to just an automatic mount without having to use nautilus for mounting the USB device manually? (thumb drive or external hard drive.)

This behaviour may be caused by extensions, the Dash To Panel, in my case. Have you tried disabling all gnome extensions and restarting your computer?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
