My Kubuntu 20.04.3 stopped being able to detect my second monitor after installing the nvidia-driver-390 recommended graphics.
One monitor is connected to the card an the other to the board.
Apparently (am a Linux noob) the xorg server isn't detecting the second monitor anymore as you can see in the xrandr
command bellow
xrandr result
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384

However the device is detected by the OS which you can see when I run lspci -v | grep VGA
. Both monitors are connected to a VGA entry.
lspci -v | grep VGA result
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119 [GeForce GT 610] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
It seems that xorg isn't detecting the monitor at all but the OS is. Am really at the lost here.
