My integrated fingerprint reader doesn't show up on lsusb

bj flag

So I have a Lenovo V330-15IKB and it has a fingerprint reader. The fingerprint reader worked on Windows but on Linux I cannot see it. The output for sudo lsusb is :

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 8087:0a2a Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 5986:2113 Acer, Inc Integrated Camera
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

What can one do to fix this issue?

If it’s a PCI device, you might find it with `lspci`. Otherwise, it’s so opaque that the Linux kernel cannot even get a device ID from the unit

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
