Ubuntu 20.04 LTS secondary screen Unknown display and not showing the full resolution

jp flag

I am new to linux in general so i don't really know how to deal with this.I'm using a GTX 750ti as a GPU. Using the x.org.x drivers, it worked to add the 1080p resolution but those drivers are not for me because i want to game on this. I have 2 monitors(both 1920x1080) my main monitor is recognized , no problems , but the secondary one is seen as "Unknown Display" and the maximum resolution is 1600x900. I used cvt but it was useless I tried to add the 1080p resolution with xrandr but it resulted in this:

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 18 (RRAddOutputMode)
Serial number of failed request: 35
Current serial number in output stream: 36

when i type xrandr, it shows this:

Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 3520 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384

Update your question with exactly the commands you tried running to add the resolution. Did you use `cvt` to generate a modeline, then the other steps on the link here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xrandr#Adding_undetected_resolutions

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
