Deja-dup does not restore files with spaces in the filename

cn flag

A file written in LibreOffice was given a name which included spaces. It is no longer accessible for use but has been backed up using Deja-Dup each of the many weeks it has been in use. Attempts to restore it show that the name has been has been split at the spaces and each word applied as to a separate file. The spaces were substituted by - and by _ but with no success. As the file contains old material its recovery is important. Naming of files will be treated differently in future, depending on the means by which the file in question is recovered.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
