Sometimes application windows are not clickable (after minimize / restore, they work again)

in flag

I have this weird problem, on my Ubuntu 20.04 sometimes application windows (any window) are frozen. Which means they do not display correct (actual) data, also could not be minimized/maximized/closed with appropriate window buttons.

Example: Imagine you see a message notification for slack, but you have slack opened on another monitor without any new message. You minimize the window by clicking slack icon in favorites menu, then click it again to restore the window and voila, you see it refreshed and with the new message.

What could be possible cause to this problem? any ideas? does anyone else experienced this? How can i at least begin to investigate this issue?

Any advice whould be helpful, thanks!

PS: I have a notebook with external monitor in extended layout, both scaled

Include information about your hardware, in particular graphics card, and details about your external monitor and how it is connected.

*i'm using nouveau driver* No, you aren't, you're using none (that's what unclaimed means). Do the smart thing: Disable Secure Boot in UEFI and install the recommended Nvidia drivers version.

doesn't it mean i'm using nouveau + UHD Graphics 630? I'm rather new to linux, so please do correct me if i'm wrong. Btw I rather go with oss than propietary if there is a choice.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
