In Kubuntu, in Konsole menu "Settings": choosing "Manage Profiles" causes the same as choosing "Configure Konsole": yields "Configure -- Konsole"

In Kubuntu 20.04 I use the Terminal "Konsole" and in each Konsole ten windows, created by "+ Start New Instance".

All the normal way, functioning over months.

Suddenly in two of the ten windows the menu bar:

File Edit View Bookmarks Settings Help

has changed its behaviour:

The "Settings", which shows subitems:

+++++ beg

Edit Current Profile...

Switch Profile

Manage Profiles...

Configure Keyboard Shortcuts...

Configure Notifications...

Configure Konsole...

+++++ end

when clicking

Manage Profiles...

it reacts the same way as when clicking

Configure Konsole

i.e. the window "Configure -- Konsole" is launched.

I am searching two days for a reason and for a way around without new boot.

Even if I create an additional window by "+ Start New Instance", the menu bar of the new window reacts false.

How can I solve the problem without to boot?

Thanks, Regards antondhdih

Looks like you found a bug in konsole. You should report it doing `ubuntu-bug konsole` from the terminal window.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
