Compatibility problems with Lenovo ideapad 3 14alc6

cn flag

I recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo ideapad 3 14alc6). When I tried to install Ubuntu Desktop 20.04.3 LTS, i found that the wifi card and the fingerprint reader aren't recognized.

Is someone in the same situation? I need help. Thx.

No, when I use Try Ubuntu, my wifi is not recognized. I tried installing Ubuntu 21.10 and the result was the same.

I tried Zorin Os, which uses the Kernel 5.3, and the wifi works without problems unlike the fingerprint reader which doesn't work.

Only Ubuntu and official flavors of Ubuntu (https://ubuntu.com/download/flavours) are on-topic here, refer to https://askubuntu.com/help/on-topic where you'll find other SE sites where you question will be welcome if you don't want to use a Zorin forum. (*One advantage of Ubuntu is it's many support options, you opted for Zorin so take advantage of its support options, or SE Unix & Linux* found in the on-topic link) *The 5.3 kernel has been EOL for a looong time and shouldn't be used online being replaced by 5.4 kernel early 2020*

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
