Switch between Windows and Ubuntu OS using a single screen

it flag

I have two PCs: one with Ubuntu OS and the other with Windows OS. I connected the two computers to the same screen using HDMI. When I am displaying Windows, I can easily switch to Ubuntu by pressing Win + P key and selecting the display "display second screen only". However, I was unable to switch back to Windows once I am in Ubuntu. Is there a way to select the second HDMI in Ubuntu as output source? Or is there an equivalent shortcut for Ubuntu to the Windows shortcut Win + P? Thank you for helping.

I'm confused about what you are describing and what you are asking. There aren't any key combinations that you can use to switch your monitor's input. Perhaps the reason it seems this is happening in Windows is because you are actually disabling the display in Windows, and with that disabled, the monitor automatically switches to the only connected display which is Ubuntu.

You can switch the input on your monitor (HDMI1/HDMI2).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
