Help with Gnome Encfs Manager data recovery

pl flag

I think I've made a big mess trying to encrypt a folder in Ubuntu 20.04

I've installed Gnome Encfs Manager, I created a new mounted folder through encfs manager and I've cut and pasted the files from the "original" folder to the encrypt folder created by encfs.

The problem is that when I've unmounted the folder, I just couldn't mount the folder again, I've tried to repeat the task, but now I have the original folder encrypted and there are some strange files in it, I tried eliminating the volume and try importing the original folder that's now encrypted and while it lets my create the volume it can't read the encrypted files and it appears empty.

Is there a way to decrypt the original folder? I know the password so there's no issue with that.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
